Traffic is queuing for miles on the M62 near Huddersfield this morning, with delays of at least half an hour.
Inrix is reporting there has been long delays on the M62 Eastbound since around 6.30am this morning between J26 M606 (Chain Bar) to J27 M621 (Gildersome). This is in the area where roadworks are being carried out.
Currently, congestion is all the way back to J24 (Ainley Top) and it is thought it’s taking at least half an hour to travel between junctions.

Google Maps also shows very congested patches between the junctions mentioned, with huge queues of vehicles showing on motorway traffic cameras.
