Paul said the fight is "very much happening" despite Danis busting him open with a microphone during a pre-fight face-to-face on Thursday.

Tensions between Paul and Danis have been bubbling over for months. Danis has made it a habit of harassing Paul's fiance, model Nina Agdal, with a series of posts on social media. Agdal was granted a restraining order against Danis last month.
Danis' physical attack on Paul seemed to be premeditated, as he wore glasses featuring blood on them in nearly the exact same spot he hit Paul with a microphone.

Paul, who has parlayed YouTube stardom into forays into the boxing ring and WWE, has not boxed since fighting an exhibition against Floyd Mayweather in 2021. His first two fights came against fellow YouTuber KSI.
Danis is a mixed martial artist who has fought in Bellator and is making his boxing debut.
